Advances in the diagnosis and treatment of microinstability of the hip
Hip microinstability refers to the instability of the femoral head and acetabulum
which leads to the instability of the hip joint
with subluxation and pain as the main manifestations of the functional abnormality of the disease
triggered by a variety of causes
and there is no gold standard for the diagnosis of micro instability of the hip joint
which needs to be combined with the physical examination
imaging examination and past medical history for comprehensive diagnosis. The treatment of hip micro instability consists of non⁃surgical treatment and surgical treatment
and the key to treatment is to restore the supportive role of each structure and eliminate the factors that affect the stability of the hip joint. In this article
we reviewed the literature on the diagnosis and treatment progress of hip micro instability
aiming to further guide clinical practice.
