Vibration response characteristics of slope induced by tunnel blasting in jointed rock mass
The blasting construction of hydraulic tunnels has adverse effects on slope stability. Based on the GS hydropower station project in Yunnan
the propagation of blasting-induced vibration in slopes is investigated in nodular rock bodies. Blasting vibration monitoring tests were carried out to analyze the attenuation law of blasting vibration in the nodular developed rock body. Combined with numerical simulation methods
the study focused on the vibration response at different interfaces and the influence of the existing tunnels on the propagation of vibration in the slope. The results show that the blasting stress wave attenuates quickly in the jointed rock body
and there is an amplification effect at the free surface of the slope
and the vibration is larger at the interface between the pile and bedrock. When there is a tunnel structure above the blast source
the peak velocity and maximum shear stress at the boundary between the pile and bedrock are smaller than those in the no-tunnel condition
and the tunnel structure has a weakening effect on the vibration response inside the slope
which is conducive to the stability of the slope. The results of the study can provide data support and theoretical reference for the stability evaluation and safety control measures of rocky slopes with joint development under blasting vibration.
